Game Modeling Projects: Mecha Improved

The same mech model, but with improved texturing, normal mapping, lighting, etc.

Any critiques would be lovely.

Game Modeling Projects: Character Head WIP2

More work on the head, this time in Zbrush. Definitely needs more work- the anatomy, in particular.

Any constructive criticism or helpful hints are welcome.

Game Modeling Projects: Character Head WIP

Our current project in Game Modeling- a character head (and eventually body as well). This will be the second head I have ever modeled in Maya, low poly. I think I have improved since my first one, as the first had a rather lumpy forehead, due to many edge loops I really didn't need. The first one was also created via the Joan of Arc tutorial, this one was created via our teacher's method, which was similar, but better.

Played around with it in Zbrush, going to get a few screencaps of those to upload in a bit.

Game Modeling Projects: Mecha

In my game modeling class we had to create a Mecha, the art we had to work off of came from dangeruss. Honestly? Despite the somewhat tight schedule, the many, tiny parts, and the sheer complexity of the thing (much of which we had to figure out on our own), I had a lot of fun on this project. It is definitely one of the more interesting models I have had to create since my first 3D modeling class. (Read: Modeling this was the fun part, UV mapping was a royal pain what with the many, many pieces)

Admittedly, it could all use a lot of work, especially the texturing and the lighting. Any advice or constructive criticism is welcome and would be much appreciated.
